personality is woven of many threads

To me crafting is equally about the process of creation as much as the creation itself. When something is made with love, care and intention, I believe that energy is infused and woven into that item.
For me, when it comes to weaving there is so much more than the fabric or item created. There are many things that need to happen before the act of entwining the threads together even happens. From the creation of the loom, shuttles and bobbins to the farmers who grow flax or raise sheep or alpaca to the artists who dye the fiber or the spinners who turn it into thread. Then of course there are many materials that we can weave with that are not fiber at all. In this way I always see weaving as a collaborative effort, as an opportunity to take something that someone has lovingly made and add to it in our own way that makes it something else entirely.
To me, this is the way that their love for what they do becomes entwined with our love for what we do. These objects then travel out into the world and live lives of their own. They become pieces in our homes, clothes that we wear, items that simply bring us joy with no other necessary purpose. My wish is for the items that you find at Entwine to bring you comfort, joy and happiness.
