A large part of what I love about weaving is the influence that weaving has on our lives and how this differs between cultures. It is such a delight to see what cultures across the world use to weave in terms of looms, fibers and techniques. Being able to weave on those looms, with those fibers and using those techniques allows us to feel a connection to those who came before us. This is what keeps me weaving.

To love weaving is to love the process, from choosing what to weave, colors, winding warp, beaming the warp, threading the heddles, tieing up the treadles to choosing your weft. The videos below show pieces of the process.
