Velvet Weaving .. again … I had such an amazing experience velvet weaving that I returned to Lisio to continue learning this beautiful and rewarding technique. Below are a few photos of my weaving experience on that trip. Looking at the weaving you can see the learning curve and how it takes a minute to get into the groove of weaving in a way that is quite different than what I am used to. With the very basics under my belt this time I learned a little bit more about the looms themselves and how to make small adjustments when needed. Design choices were also something that I would do differently next time and really loved seeing my sample change as I changed the weft colors.
